Ala prides itself on making use of specialized and modern technology in all phases of the production cycle. After the weaving, thanks to the use of special machines, Ala socks are subjected to a special dressing treatment, which soften them, rid them of residual yarn fibers and humidify them, in order to prepare them for ironing. |

The electronically-controlled Ala machines with mono- or double- cylinders produce highly refined lisle or woolen links, embroidered and jacquard works. The Ala company has been successfully operating for over twenty years, producing classical, sports and children’s hoisery. Ala socks are versatile and always impecable; they accompany the foot in its growing, at work and in private life, with care paid to even the smallest detail, supporting it with safety and comfort. |

After the automatic ironing, socks are paired off by an electronic reader, that checks with millimetric precision the right length of the articles. During a later phase, the same machine cuts the hoisery starting yarn and inserts the metallic hook into the toe. Each Ala sock is totally automated right up to the last phase. The production chain progressively leads socks up to the hot decalco phase, then to the automatic insertion of the tissue-paper sheets, next to the application of the label and of size mark, and finally up to the phase of creasing and the automatic cellophane enveloping. |
| Ala knows the difficulties feet run into every day: due to its twenty-years of experience and modern production systems, today it has the right answer to all requirements. | |
